WHAT ARE EX SAMPLE DRESSES?

These are the dresses that have been tried on in the shop during appointments. They have never been worn or altered for a brides wedding. We may have used them at a photoshoot or catwalk show but other than that they have not been outside of the shop environment.

WHY ARE THESE ON OFFER?

For several reasons….

Twice a year our chosen designers release new collections so to keep our selection of dresses from getting to large we offer dresses ‘off the peg’

Ourselves or the designer might of discontinued the dress, or we might have decided to no longer continue stocking the designer.

CAN YOU ALTER A SAMPLE DRESS TO FIT?

Yes - sizing down a dress is possible, how many sizes depends on the style and fabrics. An experienced bridal seamstress will be able to give you an idea of what’s possible so we suggest having someone lined up when you order a dress. Making a dress bigger is not something that is recommended or always possible, and we would always advise against doing this… especially as some dresses have minimal seam allowances.

DO YOU DRY CLEAN THE DRESSES?

Due to the reduction in price we DO NOT dry clean the dresses, however we do spot clean the dresses if and when they need it. It is completely up to you if you decide to have the dress dry cleaned but make sure you do your research and go to a specialist. Any dresses with marks will be listed as such in the item description.

WHAT CONDITION ARE THE DRESSES IN?

It depends on the dress… all the dresses will have any imperfections listed in the description with photos if possible. These are ex sample dresses and the price of the dress reflects any imperfections. If you have any questions or would like a more detailed video of the dress please contact us.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF A DRESS WILL FIT?

On each listing we have including the measurements which we have taken from the designers size chart. We always advise that these are approximate as they could be slight variations either during the making process. For more information on how to measure yourself please click here. CAN I RETURN A DRESS?

Yes, with dresses bought online via this website you have a right to return an item if it’s not suitable. Please make sure you read all the information regrading our shipping and returns policy which can be found here.
